STAINED GLASS CLASSES:
We offer Beginning to Advanced Classes. Students will be instructed in both lead and copper foil method.

Beginning Classes* are typically held on Monday or Tuesday evenings-7-10pm

Intermediate** and Advanced Classes are typically held on Wednesday or Thursday evening-7-10pm

*BEGINNING CLASS:
NO experience necessary. You will make a stained glass window using the leaded method of construction. You will also be introduced to the copper foil method. You will learn glass selection, proper glass cutting, grinding, soldering, patina and fininsh techniques. At the end of the class you will have completed a leaded glass panel. We have different beginning patterns to choose from. No tools will be provided but we have several beginning kits to purchase to fit any budget.

**INTERMEDIATE CLASS:
You will learn advanced techniques and receive instruction on more difficult projects. i.e. design work, 3-D, other copper foil techniques, etc. You may construct anything you want from copper foil panels, to kaleidoscopes, panel lamps and more! Project size is limited to a 2 ft. x 2 ft. size. Some experience using lead and cutting glass is preferred.

FUSING CLASS:
Typically held on Saturdays-Noon-3pm
This is "Beyond th Basics" Class. Each Student will have a hands-on experience with their own kiln. Learn the art of glass fusing, slumping, glass compatibility, kiln preparation and maintenance, kiln programming and more. Come away with several projects like jewelry, tiles, fused plates, slumped bowls and more. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. All materials provided by Tumbleweed Stained Glass. Students and customers may also bring in projects to be fired in our large kilns for a reasonable fee.
